WHO warns DR Congo Ebola outbreak is worsening
Ongoing conflict in DR Congo is severely hindering efforts to control the Ebola outbreak, making it a major public health concern. The World Health Organization stated that fighting prevents building community trust or isolating the sick, particularly in Ituri province. Over 900 suspected cases and 223 suspected deaths have been reported since the outbreak began on May 15.
