Verizon pays $625M for 50-50 global business with BT
Customers in about 180 countries could see services provided through one international company. BT and Verizon said on Monday they'll combine their overseas operations in a 50-50 partnership, with Verizon paying BT $625m to give both sides equal voting rights. More than 3,000 customers are expected, and the business aims for $4bn in yearly revenue.
