Peckham's Aylesham Centre redevelopment plans turned down
New housing opportunities for Peckham residents have been lost following the rejection of a large-scale development project, which incorporated 12 percent affordable homes. On May 19, 2026, the Aylesham Centre's redevelopment proposals received an official refusal. Due to the decision, the planned significant construction will not irreversibly modify Peckham's recognizable skyline.
