Putin's Ratings Hit Four-Year Low as Security Tightens

Vladimir Putin's approval ratings have fallen to their lowest since autumn 2022 as he retreats from public life. Since March, the Federal Protective Service has sharply tightened his security following fears of assassination by drone and a possible coup by Russia's political elite. Putin is now spending weeks in bunkers in the Krasnodar region of southern Russia.
