Cambridge University has appointed Jason Beer KC, the lead barrister at the Post Office Horizon inquiry, to head a review linked to the death of Professor Jason Arday. Arday, its youngest black professor, quit in August after the university opened an investigation into plagiarism claims he denied, and was found dead nine days later. Beer will examine how Cambridge recruited, supported and later investigated him.
