Pope Leo asks world leaders to choose peace

The Pope's message underscored a worrying indifference to global violence, calling for an end to conflicts. Pope Leo XIV delivered his first Easter Mass, appealing directly to leaders capable of starting wars to instead choose peace. He notably refrained from naming a particular country or conflict, and plans a peace vigil at the basilica on 11 April.
