Police: Missing Vitoria Barreto Took Boat From Boatyard

The disappearance of a 30-year-old Brazilian academic has led to expanded police searches across Essex. Vitoria Figueiredo Barreto was last seen on CCTV at a Brightlingsea boatyard just after midnight on Wednesday 4 March; police are investigating if she unmoored a vessel there. Her bag was found nearby off Copperas Road on Monday, intensifying this line of inquiry.
