Police get £5 million for worship place patrols
Communities in London and Manchester will benefit from increased police presence protecting places of worship. The Home Office has confirmed an additional £5 million for police forces to bolster patrols in these areas. The monetary increase was dispensed in response to claims of an arson assault directed at Jewish emergency vehicles in Golders Green, alongside an act of terrorism at a Manchester synagogue.
