Pocognoli named new Scotland head coach

The Scottish FA appointed Belgian coach Sebastien Pocognoli as Scotland's new men's head coach on Sunday, signing him to a two-year contract. The 39-year-old previously led Union Saint-Gilloise to their first Belgian league title in 90 years and a first Champions League group-stage spot, before joining Monaco in 2025. He replaces Steve Clarke, who led Scotland to their first World Cup in 28 years.
