University staffer shot with crossbow, suspect arrested
A member of staff at University of Surrey is in hospital with serious injuries after a suspected crossbow attack on campus. Officials with Surrey Police reported that an ex-student, aged 21, was taken into custody for an alleged attempted murder related to an event at approximately 10:00 AM. The wounded individual, an employee of the university's campus security department, is in a serious but stable medical state as investigations proceed.
