PM says AI risks national security after expert warns it could kill humans

Prime Minister Andy Burnham has acknowledged that artificial intelligence poses risks to national security, following warnings from an Anthropic safety researcher. On Wednesday, Evan Hubinger, a researcher at the US firm, expressed his belief that there is more than a 10% probability of AI causing humanity's demise in the coming decade.
