Phil Mickelson won't play Masters due to family health
Golf fans won't see three-time champion Phil Mickelson compete at this year's Masters tournament, which runs from 9 to 12 April. He announced on X that he is taking an extended break from golf, citing a personal family health matter. This will be only the fourth time he's missed the event since his 1991 debut, and the first since 1994 that neither he nor Tiger Woods will feature.
