Peter Murrell admits taking party's £400,000

An ex-senior political official is likely to receive a substantial jail term as a result of a grave betrayal of trust. Peter Murrell, ex-SNP chief executive, admitted guilt for embezzling party money, over £400,000, this Monday. He used £400,310.65 from party funds, taken 2010-2022, for personal items, like a luxury motor home.
