Pep Guardiola considers four-year plan to manage Italy national football team
The Italian Football Federation spent three days in discussions to persuade Pep Guardiola to become their national team's head coach. Italy's technical director Paolo Maldini and his advisor Leonardo presented a four-year plan to Guardiola, who prioritises the project over salary. Other candidates for the role include former Italy internationals Roberto Mancini and Andrea Pirlo.
