Pentagon says over 600 US troops hurt in Iran war

The Pentagon now says more than 600 American service members have been injured since the United States began military operations against Iran in February. The updated total, reported on Monday by CNN and UPI, came as the defence department changed how it records war casualties. Most of the injuries have been described by officials as minor, though the figure has risen steadily.
