Paralympic Champion Paige Greco Dies at 28 After Sudden Medical Episode
Australian Paralympic cycling champion Paige Greco died at age 28 after suffering a sudden medical episode at her Adelaide home on November 16. The para-cyclist won Australia's first gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, breaking the world record in the women's C1-3 3000m individual pursuit. She also claimed bronze medals in road race and time trial events. Greco, who had cerebral palsy and competed in the C-3 category, continued achieving success through 2025 with multiple world championship titles.
