Human rights barrister Rajiv Menon KC is contesting contempt of court proceedings at the Court of Appeal. He was referred by Mr Justice Johnson following his closing speech in a January 2026 Palestine Action trial, where he allegedly invited jurors to acquit based on conscience. Judgment from the Court of Appeal remains pending.
