Iran Supreme Leader Refuses Uranium Transfer
Peace talks could slow after Iran refused a key US request on nuclear material. Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei ordered that highly enriched uranium stay inside Iran during negotiations aimed at ending the conflict that began on February 28, according to two Iranian officials. The International Atomic Energy Agency believes a stockpile of highly enriched uranium is stored at sites in Isfahan and Natanz.
