Women with stomas climb Kilimanjaro for charity

An expedition to Mount Kilimanjaro was undertaken by a group of 17 women, all of whom had stoma bags or had survived birth trauma, with the goal of raising awareness. Gill Castle, the founder of the charity Chameleon Buddies, which provides support to women suffering from stomas or childbirth injuries, was the leader of the expedition. One participant, Sophie Excell, said the altitude was a bigger challenge than her stoma bag during the climb.
