South East Water leaks 500 million cups of tea

South East Water is wasting a massive 104 million litres of treated water daily, enough to supply over 700,000 people. Ofwat, the water watchdog, found these leaks increased by 8% since 2019-20, despite customers facing supply issues in May. This comes as the company raised average yearly bills by 7% to £324 from April.
