Cornwall surgeons use new robot for greater precision

Surgeons in Cornwall recently used a new soft tissue robotic system for the first time on 6 July, marking a big step for patient care in the county. The new robot lets surgeons operate with more precision in small, hard-to-reach parts of the body, helping to reduce blood loss. The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust plans to use the £2m system for various conditions, including some cancers and endometriosis.
