UK prices climb 3.3%, growth may stop

Ordinary people face higher costs as UK inflation rose in March, driven by increased fuel and food prices. The 2% inflation goal of the Bank of England was exceeded by the 3.3% increase in prices observed over the year concluding in March. The 0.6% economic expansion observed in the first quarter is projected to decelerate or halt completely later this year, primarily due to the conflict in Iran.
