Fans can't get US visas for World Cup
Many football fans are struggling to obtain visas for upcoming World Cup in the United States, raising concerns that the tournament is becoming inaccessible to many supporters worldwide. A BBC investigation found that fans from over a quarter of participating countries face travel restrictions or regularly have visa applications rejected. Several supporters described personal difficulties, including Iraqi fan Abdulla Adnan, who said he spent around $1,800 on match tickets and an unsuccessful visa application attempt that required travelling to Jordan.
