OpenAI Co-Founder Describes Fear of Assault in Musk Power Struggle
OpenAI President Greg Brockman testified on Tuesday in the Musk v. OpenAI trial in Oakland that he feared Elon Musk would physically attack him during an August 2017 meeting. The confrontation erupted when Musk demanded majority control of OpenAI and rejected Brockman's proposal for equal ownership among co-founders, threatening to withhold funding until the others departed.
