Older property owners should pay more tax, says think tank

An influential policy think tank has stated that Britain's tax system requires adjustment, shifting the burden from younger employees to assets and the elderly. The Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) cautioned that an ageing populace would be responsible for almost 80% of the additional financial strain on the UK by 2075.
