Old Speckled Hen beer now owned by Estrella maker

UK pubs and supermarkets will continue to stock Old Speckled Hen, notwithstanding its recent change of ownership. Greene King has sold the popular ale brand, including its golden and non-alcoholic versions, to Spanish brewer Damm, owner of Estrella lager. Brewing will shift from Bury St Edmunds to Damm’s recently built Bedford brewery, leading to the Westgate site's long-term closure.
