A 20-year-old man threw a Molotov cocktail at Sam Altman's San Francisco home at around 4AM on Friday, setting fire to an exterior gate before fleeing to OpenAI's headquarters where he threatened to burn the building down. Police arrested Daniel Alejandro Moreno-Gama and charged him with attempted murder, arson and possession of a destructive device. Altman shared a photo of his family in a blog post, saying he hoped it would 'dissuade the next person' from attacking.
