Fake AI singer tricks viewers of America's Got Talent
Videos featuring a computer-generated musician named Michael Bennett have gone viral, deceiving thousands of social media users into believing he is a genuine contestant on America’s Got Talent. The clips depict an elderly rocker performing emotional ballads about family estrangement, prompting an outpouring of sympathy from viewers. However, production company Fremantle confirmed the footage is fabricated and has issued copyright strikes. Despite visual glitches revealing the deception, many fans remain emotionally invested in the artificial character’s music.
