US Navy deems Hormuz Strait too dangerous for escorts
Middle East oil exports remain disrupted, causing global prices to rise to levels not seen since 2022. The US Navy has rejected almost daily shipping sector pleas for military escorts through the Strait of Hormuz. These started over a week ago following the "war on Iran's" beginning. Navy officials state the danger of attacks there remains too high at present.
