Nick Candy's Chelsea house sells for £265 million
A London property sale has set a new record, becoming one of the most expensive residential transactions globally, with the buyer remaining undisclosed. Property developer Nick Candy sold his Chelsea mansion, Providence House, for more than £265 million, making it Britain's biggest ever house sale. The Grade II-listed mansion, located in the Royal Chelsea Hospital grounds, boasts its own lake and an underground swimming pool.
