NHS Consultants in England to Strike for Two Days in November

Senior hospital doctors in England will strike for two days on 25 and 26 November in a dispute over pay and working hours, the British Medical Association announced. Consultants will provide only emergency cover, similar to Christmas Day staffing, so routine operations and appointments are likely to be hit. The union says their pay has fallen by a quarter in real terms over 17 years.
