New UN world map causes concern over disputed areas for three countries

The UN General Assembly voted for a new Equal Earth map last week to show continents' true sizes more accurately. However, Ukraine, Japan, and India are worried about how it shows their disputed territories. Ukraine says its Russian-occupied Crimea is too similar to Russia's colour, while Japan dislikes the shade used for the Kuril Islands. India demands its official borders for Jammu and Kashmir.
