Netherlands boycotts 2027 Eurovision over Israel's participation
Dutch public broadcaster AvroTros declared on Monday its intention to abstain from the Eurovision Song Contest in 2027. AvroTros says the event can no longer be considered neutral due to Israel's involvement, marking the second consecutive year it will boycott. AvroTros added that recent rule changes by the European Broadcasting Union do not restore the contest's independent character.
