Almost 200 countries meeting in Yerevan, Armenia, agreed a new action plan on nature early on Saturday, hours after UN talks were meant to end. Nations admitted they are falling behind 2022 targets, including protecting 30% of land and sea by 2030, with the UN saying only one of 24 goals is on track. Funding remains the main sticking point, with just over $1bn pledged.
