Nationwide faces criticism over member voting practices

Building society members may lose democratic control as bosses bundle voting options and exclude them from boards. Labour MP Navendu Mishra wrote to Nationwide's chair Kevin Parry demanding changes before the upcoming annual meeting. The society now holds £382bn in assets following its £2.9bn Virgin Money purchase.
