Swift, a Nasa space telescope weighing nearly 1,500kg, is dropping out of orbit after 22 years, with most of it expected to burn up. The nonprofit Aerospace Corporation forecasts a Wednesday descent, with the impact expected at approximately 10.19am, plus or minus two hours. It will land somewhere between 20.6° north and south of the Equator, probably over ocean.
