Farage referred to parliamentary watchdog over £5m gift
Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has been referred to the Parliamentary Standards Commissioner over an undisclosed £5 million payment from crypto investor Christopher Harborne. The Conservatives wrote to commissioner Daniel Greenberg asking him to examine whether any of the money funded political activity rather than personal security. Farage has dismissed the row as a "political stunt" and said he was advised the gift did not need to be declared.
