Amalfi Coast now very crowded and expensive
Ordinary people visiting Italy's famous Amalfi Coast are increasingly finding their holidays overwhelming and significantly more expensive. The beautiful coastline has become extremely crowded in recent years, often leading to a less relaxing experience for travellers. Visitors frequently spend half their time competing for tables and space alongside numerous cruise ship crowds.
