EU sanctions VKontakte over alleged cyber activity.

People using phones sold in Russia may be affected because a messaging app already placed on those devices has drawn fresh restrictions. On Monday, the European Union widened measures against Russian people and organisations over alleged cyber activity and rights abuses, adding VKontakte and its subsidiary Communication Platform LLC. MaxApp comes pre-installed on all mobile devices sold in Russia.
