Castlelake offers £6.25 per share for Easyjet takeover.

Holiday travellers could see changes at Easyjet if shareholders back a proposed takeover. On Monday, private equity firm Castlelake publicly asked investors to press the airline into accepting its third approach after Easyjet rejected the latest offer over the weekend. Castlelake’s newest proposal values shares at £6.25 each, above Friday’s closing price of £5.04, and shareholders have until 5pm on 26 June to give views.
