Milder UK winter possible from strong El Niño
The US weather agency, NOAA, declared a very strong El Niño, expected to cause extreme global weather and potentially make 2027 the hottest year. Though it starts in the Pacific, its UK weather impact is much smaller, mainly bringing potential changes during our winters. Any effect here is indirect and unreliable, as stronger Atlantic weather systems usually override it easily.
