Musk loses trial, AI firms can make money

The recent court case confirmed that earning substantial money from AI is simply business, not charity. Elon Musk lost his legal challenge against OpenAI on a technicality, which truly vindicated the competitive nature of the AI industry. The Oakland, California, trial also clearly exposed the large egos of men jostling for power and money within the sector.
