MP Dan Norris arrested for second time over rape and upskirting charges

Independent MP Dan Norris, 66, was arrested for a second time on suspicion of raping a second woman, voyeurism, and upskirting. Police dropped earlier child abduction probes but continue investigating an April 2025 rape allegation. Norris, who defeated Jacob Rees-Mogg in July 2024, vigorously denies claims spanning the 2000s-2020s. Over 2,000 constituents signed a petition demanding the suspended MP's resignation as he remains on conditional bail.
