Mountaineer's backpack and gear found 60 years after 1963 Austrian glacier fall

An 86-year-old mountaineer has received his backpack and climbing kit after it emerged from a melting Austrian glacier. He lost it during a fall into a crevasse on the Sulztalferner glacier in August 1963 while with friends. Police found heavily frayed documents in the bag, tracking him down so his son could collect the items.
