Most Europeans prefer more air con over cutting carbon emissions

After recent extreme heatwaves, a survey across six European nations found that between 30% and 52% of people feared for their health. Many wanted governments to help them keep homes cool, with 61% to 73% favouring air conditioning in new homes. In every country except Italy, more people prioritised air conditioning over lowering CO2 emissions.
