Most Brits want more security with Europe

A new poll shows half of all UK voters want closer security links with European allies, with only one in 10 prioritising cooperation with the US. The Liberal Democrats, who commissioned the Savanta poll, say Prime Minister Andy Burnham's Brexit policies risk national security. They advocate for a novel "growth and defence partnership" alongside Europe, encompassing single market membership and a security council.
