MND ballerina performs on stage with avatar

A ballerina with motor neurone disease has achieved her dream of dancing on stage again, calling the experience "exhilarating" and "magical". Breanna Olson, who has Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), used her brainwaves to guide a digital avatar during a live performance in Amsterdam. This groundbreaking event saw her use an EEG headset to convert motor signals into the avatar's movements.
