UK ministers are angry that the Welsh Government is holding up a space defence radar planned for Cawdor Barracks in Pembrokeshire, The Telegraph reports. The station is part of a joint project with the US and Australia to track distant satellites. Welsh ministers took the planning decision away from the local council in July, citing wildlife and safety worries. Labour sources blame Plaid Cymru's opposition.
