Middle East war spreads across region on day five
The US-Israeli military campaign against Iran, launched on 28 February under Operation Epic Fury, entered its fifth day with fighting spreading across the region. Iran has responded with waves of missiles and drones targeting Israel, Gulf states, and US military bases. Iran's official IRNA news agency reported that US-Israeli strikes have killed 1,045 military personnel and civilians, a figure AFP could not independently verify. Explosions have been reported in cities including Tehran, Tel Aviv, Dubai, and Doha.
