Middle East flights slowly coming back after days of chaos
Limited airline services are resuming across the Middle East after widespread disruption caused by regional conflict. A UK government-chartered flight from Oman was delayed by a technical issue but was expected to depart Thursday, while Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands had already completed repatriation flights home. Emirates and Etihad resumed limited services from Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and Virgin Atlantic restarted its Dubai-London route on Wednesday. The UAE is covering accommodation costs for more than 20,000 stranded travellers.
